KV33 Swell is a registered 501(c)(3) organization based in Austin empowering youth through surf-inspired movement, creativity, and connection. Our beginner-friendly movement, mindfulness, and sound-based wellness programs blend physical activity, social-emotional learning, and creative expression to nurture the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of every child. Through partnerships with schools, organizations, and local supporters, we make it possible for youth ages 5–17 to move, feel, create, grow, and connect.

Our mission first focus is to reach kids who need it the most, such as at-risk/underserved youth. Our long term goal is to reach more of those in rural areas that have very limited access to supportive programs that might be similar to ours.

KV33 Swell brings movement, mindfulness, and creativity together through surfskate, sound, and art-based experiences that support the mental, physical, and emotional growth of youth.

Our sessions are intentionally designed around the SwellSync Framework, which integrates social-emotional learning (SEL), physical activity, and creative self-expression.

Through structured programs, school partnerships, and community-based classes, youth learn to move with confidence, feel grounded through rhythm and sound, and connect deeply with themselves and others—all while having fun in a safe, supportive space.

KV33 Swell is a fully mobile program; bringing every element of our experience directly to schools, recreation centers, and community spaces. We provide all top-tier, high-quality safety gear for surf-inspired sessions, along with creative art materials and professional-grade sound bowl equipment for mindfulness and sound experiences. Our certified instructors lead with expertise, safety, and heart—creating inclusive, age-appropriate experiences that adapt to each setting.

Surf-inspired lessons are held in open gyms or safe outdoor spaces, while creative art and sound sessions typically take place indoors to foster focus and reflection.

Every detail, from setup to facilitation, is handled by our team so each student can feel supported, inspired, and safe.

Unlike traditional sports or after-school programs, KV33 Swell blends surf-inspired movement with sound-based mindfulness and creative exploration. Our holistic approach meets kids where they are—supporting self-regulation, focus, and confidence through movement and sensory engagement. We intentionally bridge athleticism with artistry, teamwork with self-awareness, and community connection with personal growth.

Every experience is guided by our founder (or certified instructors in the near future) who combine coaching, mentorship, and social-emotional practices to create a lasting impact that goes far beyond the session.

We collaborate with schools, youth organizations, and community partners who share our mission to expand access to movement and mindfulness experiences for all kids—especially those in underserved or at-risk communities. Our partnerships include public and private schools, recreation centers, local nonprofits, and sponsors who believe in equity, wellness, and creative expression.

Together, we create programs that are engaging, inclusive, and built to strengthen the well-being of both youth and the communities they live in.

KV33 Swell operates on a two-path access model: Community Access and Public Program Access. (We also offer select wellness experiences for adults, which serve as an additional revenue stream to further sustain our youth impact.)

Community Access offers low-cost or sponsored programs to underserved and at-risk youth through school and nonprofit partnerships. Public Program Access includes open enrollment classes, events, and team-building experiences in higher-income areas that help fund our mission-driven programs.

This balanced model ensures sustainability while keeping our core focus on accessibility, equity, and meaningful community impact.

Youth are growing up in a high-stress, high-disconnection environment—while many are not getting the movement, support, and safe community experiences that help them thrive.

National CDC data from 2023 shows 39.7% of high school students experienced persistent sadness or hopelessness.

20.4% seriously considered suicide, and 9.5% attempted suicide.

At the same time, only 25% met the daily youth physical activity guideline (60 minutes/day) in 2023. And outside of school, only 58.5% of teens report they always or usually receive the social and emotional support they need.
