Partnering for Impact: The Ultimate Guide to SEL Enrichment Programs in Austin & Central Texas

Central Texas Youth Need More Than Another Program

You already know the statistics are concerning. Screen time is up. Connection is down. Students are struggling with regulation, focus, and confidence in ways that weren't as common a decade ago.

But here's what you might not know: the solution doesn't have to mean hiring more staff, building new facilities, or overhauling your entire approach.

What if the right SEL enrichment program could come directly to you: fully equipped, safety-ready, and designed to meet youth exactly where they are?

That's exactly what KV33 Swell offers to schools, cities, nonprofits, and community sponsors across Austin, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Buda, Kyle, and surrounding Central Texas communities.

We're a mobile, founder-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings surf-inspired movement, creative expression, SEL mini-lessons, and restorative sound experiences directly to your campus, rec center, or community space.

No gym required. No equipment to purchase. No complicated logistics on your end.

Just meaningful programming that can help young people build confidence, develop regulation tools, and experience genuine belonging.

What Makes KV33 Swell Different

We Come to You: Fully Equipped

Most school wellness programs require you to find space, purchase equipment, and train staff. We flip that model entirely.

KV33 Swell is a mobile youth program that brings everything needed for a complete session:

  • Surfskate boards and balance boards (beginner-friendly, sized for ages 5–17)

  • All safety gear (helmets, pads, and protective equipment)

  • Sound immersion tools for restorative experiences (ages 9+)

  • Creative expression supplies for reflection activities

  • Trained, founder-led facilitation with every session

We show up. We set up. We deliver. You focus on what you do best.

Founder-Led, Safety-Forward

Every KV33 Swell session is led or directly supervised by our founder: not contracted out to rotating staff. This means consistent quality, relationship continuity, and accountability.

Our safety protocols include:

  • Small group sizes (typically 8–12 youth per session)

  • Mandatory safety gear for all movement activities

  • Age-appropriate equipment and progressions

  • Clear boundaries and trauma-aware facilitation

> Important: KV33 Swell is not a licensed mental health provider. We do not offer therapy or clinical treatment. Our programs focus on wellness, connection, and skill-building through evidence-informed SEL activities.

The SwellSync™ Framework: How Our Sessions Flow

At the heart of every KV33 Swell experience is our proprietary SwellSync™ Framework: a structured approach that blends movement, creativity, regulation, and connection into cohesive programming.

The Four SwellRise™ Tracks

CREATE : Movement + Creativity + SEL
This is where surf-inspired movement meets self-expression. Youth learn balance board and surfskate fundamentals while exploring creativity and building coordination. SEL concepts are woven naturally into the experience.

RESTORE : Regulation + Breath + Sound-Based Calming
For ages 9 and up, we offer restorative sound immersion experiences. These sessions focus on breath awareness, nervous system regulation, and creating space for calm. Many partners find this track especially valuable for student regulation tools and wellness day programming.

HARMONY : Connection + Teamwork + Confidence
This track emphasizes community building, peer support, and collaborative challenges. Youth practice working together, celebrating each other's progress, and developing social awareness.

INSPIRE : Reflection + SEL + Creative Expression
A non-movement track focused on journaling, goal-setting, and creative reflection. Perfect for indoor sessions or when you need programming that doesn't require physical activity.

What a Pilot Session Looks Like

A typical pilot runs 45–60 minutes and includes:

  1. Welcome + safety briefing (5 minutes)

  2. Warm-up + SEL opening (5–10 minutes)

  3. Core activity from one or more SwellRise™ Tracks (25–35 minutes)

  4. Cool-down + reflection (5–10 minutes)

  5. Closing circle + connection moment (5 minutes)

Partners receive a debrief after each pilot to discuss observations, feedback, and next steps.
